Femes
From Puerto del Carmen, head towards Puerto Calero and then follow the road towards Yaiza. Femes is signposted on the left before you reach Uga.
There are not streams of visitors to Femes but it is well worth a visit.
On the way to Femes you will pass a house on the right hand side which has a garden different than most, take a look at the helicopter and other
items in the garden.
There are three restaurants, Balcon de Femes, Casa Emiliano and restaurant Femes,a small church, a shop, a school and a small amount of houses.
The views from Femes are fantastic, overlooking Playa Blanca and the islands of Los Lobos and Fuerteventura.
On leaving Femes towards Playa Blanca take it easy down the steep winding road.
