Mirador Del Rio
At the North of the island one can see the fantastic views of the Atlantic ocean the straights below the islands out to sea, the largest being
the island of Grasiosa with some fantastic beaches.
It was originally built in 1973 as an artillery store, It is built at a height of 479 metres.
Later it was converted to form an excellent viewing area with two large windows with the helpin design by Cesar Manrique.
It is possible to walk down the cliff path to the beaches below, a rather steep path, make sureyou have the correct footwear.
Open daily 10.00 - 18.00 hrs.
